Location is amazing. The communal areas are very pleasant.

The rooms are very basic as are the bathrooms.

Well-located, easy to reach, great view of the water, tastefully decorated, spacious room, good breakfast.

There was nothing I didn't like.

If you compare the prices of other hotels this is quite good. If you come by car, everything is within a short driving distance (Roskilde center, Copenhagen, Helsingor). Free parking. The hotel complex is huge, you can ask for a view of the fjord, the room has a nice, big desk if you're planning to work. The buffet breakfest is great.

Ironically the rooms in this huge hotel are tiny. A single room is the same size as the double (the only difference is that you get 2 towels instead of 1. Our room was connected to another by a door, so expect to hear your neighbour. No free Internet. At the hotel there is a restaurant and a seperate bar, however, it's deserted. Completely inconvienient for those without a car (few kms from the center).

The room was a good size with comfortable bed and had a superb view of the bay. The breakfast was generous and of good quality food.

The internet facility via the tv screen and keyboard worked ok but was a bit slow and difficult to use and couldn't have been used for anything other than accessing e-mail.

We enjoyed the stay as the staff was friendly,location was lovely,peaceful staff were friendly. Very relaxing!

Restaurant was expensive and could possibly use a bus service to get into town and not enough tea left in the rooms.

Good location in a fairly ordinary town. Views across the lake was a bonus. Hotel layout was attractive with plenty of garden areas and well designed relaxation areas. Food range was very good; most important as there is little around the area offering a reasonable place to eat. Staff friendly and most helpful. Room layout and fit out typical of scandinavian hotel rooms. Breakfast included and like most hotels in Germany and scandinavia, the servings are generous. Parking on site is plentiful and free.

Roskilde has not much going for it, exempt for the Viking museum. However, Copenhagen is a little over 40 minutes away. Closer by train.

I recently stayed at Comwell in Roskilde for a week while visiting DTU, Risø campus. The staff was incredibly friendly, always greeting me with a smile. The location was quiet, ensuring a peaceful sleep every night. The breakfast had a good selection and was delicious. The architecture of the building was stunning, with plenty of common areas and natural light. The simplicity of the room and the free parking were also great perks. The wifi worked well and the view from my room was excellent.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Nice located upon a hill we view to the Roskilde Sea. Very nice view. Modern, comprehensive ambiente. Nice terrasse. Nice restaurant. Everything available you would expect. Free parking. Excellent breakfast. You can really enjoy the stay here!

Not as clean as it should be: in the room = okay. Outside: not okay. So it was even not possible to open the window due to spiders, bugs outside. And the cups for the coffee / tea placed in a bowl which was dirty. The carpet outside with dirt. Unbelievable mixture of plugs. The ventilator located at a place where you could not plug it in. The staff at the reception: terrific slow, picking up calls while you are waiting etc. Not aware that we announced a dog. 3,5 km away of the older town of Roskilde. Just in case you would like to visit the tówn (bus, car)

As I was on foot the fact that it was on the outskirts was less convenient than if it had been close to the town centre.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The modern large room with a nice view of the park was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is perched on a hill, providing a breathtaking view of the sea. I particularly enjoyed the terrace at the hotel bar and restaurant. The breakfast served was exceptional, with a great variety to choose from including meats, cheeses, breads, vegetables. The hotel also has a big parking area which was very convenient for me. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, beautiful views, and delicious breakfast options.

The guy who recieved us when we arrived in the middle of the night was very friendly and helpful and almost made me forget that we had to try four rooms to find a room that was actually cleaned.

The girl in the reception who checked us out was on the other hand much more unsympathetic and made me regret that i put up with searching for a room in the middle of the night. Oh also we got no wifi on the room which we paid extra for.

Beautiful design, very confortable room and structure, excellent position for relaxing after a busy day. Excellent Wifi connection in the room.

Restaurant kitchen closes at 21.00 h, too early! Better more European TV channels. In such a beautiful structure would be appreciated a Spa area, at least sauna and whirlpool.

Great breakfast, exceptional selections. Friendly and attentive staff. Quiet location, had a great sleep. Excellent food and beer at the bar. Amazing architecture, lots of natural light. For us it was ideal.

Beautiful surroundings, lush and green. Good location for bicyckling in the aerea.

Hot rooms (nice wiew though!) Fan, but it was noisy. Window awnings should have been put up. Slept with window open so ok. Roomservice did not clean glass desk in front of window, glass must be polished every day for looking clean. We also found an earring under å small weel-table; not vacuumed under.....
